I have been working like crazy lately, and had no time to write to blog.

But now I started again an old hobby of mine, Postcrossing, and here is how it started:

This one is from US from Ann.. It's a hand-made card, and you can buy them from Etsy, by the name of ArtsyAnn.

Next one is from Ukraine from Olena. I love this one really much, and so did my daughter.

And finally we travelled to Lithuania with Reda!

I can't wait for new postcards, our wall starts to be full.

It was the mother's day and I got some amazing gifts from my daughter!

A card and pedant she made me in her daycare!

I love this teapot!! Totally! I think besides the things she has made me, this was the greatest gift I have ever gotten! Love it!

Again; I have some new treasures. Of course, all is worth nothing, but for me those are worth of everything.

It's time to start planting veggies and herbs to our balcony. I visited my mom, and she gave me a lot of seeds. I can't wait for the summer, when we'll get to taste our own veggies.

Tea and incenses! I wonder if you can have too much of those.

I have started collecting these old plastic jars. I found two of them from two flea markets this week. I love those!

My granny passed away and I got some jewerly from her. I love the big pendant! Jewerly!

This needle I got also from my granny. I TOTALLY LOVE IT!

It's an old party of Finland, from the left side, and I find it as one of my biggest treasures. You just can't find these from the flea markets often.

Today I got mail from my friend Miriam from Germany. I opened the envelope and there was surprises for myself and my daughter!

Vilja loved this bath salt. It dyed the water and foam pink and smelled like roses. Our whole house smells like it, and I love it! It's all natural and organic! Wish we had those in Finland!

I got a lucky cent from Bahamas!

I love the mail!!

Okay, it was the election day.

And I have to say, I can't understand what the f*ck is wrong with finnish people!!

The biggest winner was the True Finns.

"Their political message is two-fold: social-democratic welfare combined with nationalism and xenophobia."

"Finland is officially bilingual, but the True Finns' nationalism has no room for Swedish. It excludes Swedish as something unfamiliar to Finnish culture. Polls suggest that most Finns share that view and want to stop the teaching of Swedish in Finnish schools."

Our day in Tallinn

This week I decided to take Vilja with me, and leave to beautiful Tallinn, to meet some local couch surfers. I've been there for many times, and met couch surfers before, and now I again got two new friends from there.

We had a great day, both of us, and Rasmus and Allan were great guys!

We went to this market place, which had a flea market in it. Vilja found herself a new teddy!

Otherwise we just did wandering around the city.

I already miss Tallinn so much! Next time I'm going to spend there couple of days again.

Today it's again all about kids stuff! We went to flea markets to celebrate Viljas childhood.

We found the coolest doctors case ever. It has even x-rays!

And we both (especially me!) love books with "windows". Today we found one about pirates.

Magnifying glasses are pretty cool too! We found this puzzle where you must seek for small insects from the picture with a magnifying glass.

I found myself a new necklace.

And somebody found moms beautybox...

Today it's again all about our treasures.

At least one of us got Valentine's days card.. Vilja brought this today home and told she has a new boyfriend called Verneri. Verneri had made her this cute card.

We also got a new familymember today. His name is Nuusku.

And I also got ready a pair of woolen socks! So warm and comfy!

Then we decided to go to flea markets and I found again some treasures.

Some cool old fabrics.

I love everything from the 1970s'.. So this kitchen towel is my newest treasure!

Today I went shopping!

I've been into superfood lately. And herbal medication and how natures products affect us.

So, first I went to buy hemp seeds.

I love it! Truly, love the taste and all the goodness it brings me.

For those who don't know:

"Hemp is one of the purest, most complete plants on earth. It has the perfect balance of Omega 3 and 6 for sustainable human health. This makes raw hemp seeds incredibly powerful against cancer. I also went buying tea (is there a limit for how many kinds of tea one person can have at home?)

One for day and one for evening. I like to use valerian root in the evening to sleep tight. It relaxes me and now I found a new tea which has it.

It also has Oat flower, licourice root, chamomille flower, lavender flower, and tulsi leaf. I bet I'm going to sleep so well next night!!

The one for the day has coriander, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, apple, orange peels and marigold flowers. Yammy!

I also found these cute ponypearls. So penfriends, prepair yourselves for ponysurprises!

Our wednesday

We made a dough from flours and salt and water and made "candy" for Viljas plays.

I can't bake but it seems I can do everything else from flours.

Magic dough

2 cups of flour

2 cups of salt

10-15 tablespoons of water

Dry your bacings in the oven (150 celcius, 30-50 minutes)

We also went to flea markets and both of us found new pair of sheets and books:

Vilja has a huge thing for dinosaurs!

That was my favourite fairytale as a child.

Yesterday I opened my eyes and looked at our home. And decided it's time to get everything organized.

I need my kitchen table back for it's original use..

But, as unorganized I am, we started putting labels on everything..

And making olive oil with spices. My favourite things!

I think I should get a housemaid.

I can't get any sleep this night. And my sewing machine won't work. So I decided to make some jewerly. All of these are still unfinished. But I bet I'll get everything done before morning.

I also started decorating our bathroom. Starting with a box for washing powder.

Well see in the morning how many things I'll get done.

One of our favourite things during the days is going to flea markets. We always first decide what we are going to seek for, clothing, books, things to our home, furniture, or jewerly. This day is dedicated to being fancy, and here's something we have found on our jewerly days.

These two are two of my favourites.

Vilja also made us some fancy jewerly. She got pearls as a birthday gift, and now we, as all our friends and relatives, have their own pearls.

I've always been really bad at baking. Even if I follow the recipe, I always end up with a mess.

Yesterday evening we decided to make buns.

First it was fun!

But when those were ready, the reaction was this:

We got back home from our trip to my folks and my grannys funeral. So it means back to our projects. Today I started making an unicorn skirt for my little one.

I'm glad we don't have too much money, all you need is some imagination, one little girl (and moms help) and ads, paper and glue. And you have everything for dollhouse furniture!

The sun is shining and I decided to wash our windows now.

It's all about deers and birds!

My old deer, which I have used to shirts and bags. Now I made a new bambi too.

I made these animal figures. I'll use them for clothes and bags. I don't know what's up with me, usually I hate and fear birds, but today it felt cool to make those too. There is one raven too.

This is totally my favourite pair of furniture. My family found it from this old houses attic. I adore it, even it's still a project which is still in progress. I should upholster the stool, you can open it and keep stuff inside, and I love the shape of it, the fabric is ugly, old and in bad condition.

There is one broken mirrow and the table is badly suffered during the time, but I'm going to reconstruct it as soon as I'll have the money and energy.

Still, I love these pieces.

I also love everything old, which I have found from attics and abandoned houses. I love going to those, such a treasure chests, and this is part of my collection:

The chest has been used in war, there has been a grenade inside.
